I believe the best organizational systems are designed around how people actually work, not how org charts say they should work. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a fundamental conviction: when teams have the right tools, clear processes, and systematic support, they produce better work and experience less friction in their daily collaboration.

This philosophy shaped my approach at CVS Health, where I spent four years identifying and solving problems that made work harder than it needed to be. When I noticed engineers losing access to tools they’d integrated into their workflows, I didn’t just flag it as a budget issue – I conducted systematic research to understand the actual impact on their productivity and job satisfaction. When I saw design teams struggling to find each other’s work across fragmented systems, I didn’t impose arbitrary naming rules – I spent months mapping how different teams conceptualized their work so I could create frameworks that felt natural to adopt.

My background in product design taught me to center user needs in everything I build, whether that user is a customer downloading an app or a colleague trying to locate a file at 4:30 on a Friday. I’ve learned that sustainable organizational change happens when you understand people’s real constraints, workflows, and motivations – then design solutions that make their work life genuinely better.

The tools and processes I design aren’t just about efficiency metrics or cost savings, though those matter. They’re about creating environments where people can focus on the work that energizes them instead of fighting systems that slow them down. When teams can collaborate easily, discover each other’s work, and build on existing solutions rather than starting from scratch, everyone benefits – the organization, the end customers, and the individuals who show up each day trying to do meaningful work.
